Mounir A. Ajam is a distinguished project management expert, author, advisor, and speaker. He is the Founder and CEO of Uruk Project Management. Mounir is a senior executive with over three decades of outstanding global and practical experience in the capital projects industries such as engineering, construction, petroleum, utilities, project management, and management consulting. He has worked on projects worth billions of United States dollars in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and West Asia. His experience includes working on small and multiple projects as well as large and complex projects, including mega projects in the United States and Southeast Asia. His experience includes management consultancy and training for leading organizations from East Africa to Southeast Asia. Mounir has recently led a technology startup that is developing project management software solutions. He is the innovator behind the comprehensive, versatile, and integrated digital solution, the Uruk Platform. He is the author of several books, including “Project Management Beyond Waterfall and Agile” and “Leading Megaprojects, A Tailored Approach.” His work focuses on advancing project management methodologies and practices. He is known for his innovative, Customizable, and Adaptable Methodology for Managing Projects (CAMMP™), now rebranded as the UrukPM Value Delivery Methodology and the Four Dimensions of Project Success. In addition to his professional achievements, Mounir is deeply committed to community development and volunteer work. He actively supports various global project management organizations and initiatives, contributing his expertise to help build and sustain project management functions in different sectors. Most recently, he was part of the team reviewing PMI’s PMO Guide, which was published in February 2025. Finally, Mounir often shares his knowledge through publishing blog articles, podcasts, videos, webinars, and workshops. He has also presented professional papers by speaking at project management conferences worldwide.
