Moss Matthey was born and raised in the foothills of the German Harz Mountains. As a child, he moved to North Wales and learned the Welsh language. Now a practicing Druid and Witch, he immerses himself in the folklore of his dual German-Welsh heritage, which features heavily in his writing. Based in Wrexham (famous for its football), he regularly runs classes and workshops, as well as being a tarot reader and presenting at local and online conferences. He is an author with Llewellyn Worldwide and Moon Books, and often contributes to magazines and blogs.
