I am the firm's Vice Chairman responsible for a variety of activities related to the US firm's involvement in PwC's global network. I am also the firm's Vice Chairman for New York Metro. I have been with PwC for 33 years, and have been a partner for the past 22 years. During this time I have served a number of Fortune 500 telecom and technology clients. I have also held a variety of industry leadership roles. I was the Technology, InfoComm and Entertainment (TICE) leader for Central and Eastern Europe and Russia and was based in Budapest from 1998-2001. I relocated to New York and in 2001 was appointed Global Leader of the Information/Communications industry practice. In 2005 I became the Global Leader for the TICE practice and served on the Global Leadership Team. I then became the Strategy Leader for the US Assurance practice in 2008 and assumed my current as Vice Chairman and Strategy Leader in 2009. I am the co-author of The Self-Made Billionaire Effect: How Extreme Producers Create Massive Value, which will publish in January 2015. I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in accounting. I continue to be actively involved at Penn State and serve on the Advisory Board for the Smeal College of Business. I also serve on the Advisory Board of DonorsChoose. I am an avid golfer and slave to the beach.
