Minghao (Michael) Huang, Ph.D., is the Founder & CEO of MacHMic（麥禾米） Network Tech., Institutional Entrepreneur, Writer, Husband, Father of two beloved daughters. He graduated from Peking University and was awarded a Ph.D. degree by Seoul National University. He used to teach at Konkuk University and KyungHee University as an assistant professor, and, later, he went back to China to practice his main research topic: institutional entrepreneurship. Born as a Chaoxianzu (Korean Chinese) and grew up in completely fragmented families from seven years old, he was in a perfect situation to struggle with the identity problems and absurdity of life. After surviving from stealing, smoking, and even death in childhood, he began to desperately seek his personal happiness and the meaning of his life in his own context. As he once said, he has two great teachers in his life. One is his dramatic life adventures; the other is knowledge gained from the books he read and interdisciplinary researches he did in universities. Now, he wants to share his different insights and perspectives with readers. Thus, his first book, the Art of Life, inspired by the Bible and Tao Te Ching, came into being. This small book will present us a compass map that leads us to the way how to live a happy and meaningful life with a simple, elegant, and beautiful pattern imprinted in all creatures.
