Miguel Balfour is an award-winning novelist and a practicing Medical Doctor, specializing in Hospital Medicine. He lives and works in Indiana with his wife, also a physician, and their two beautiful daughters who keep him on his toes.

Miguel is an avid reader of mystery novels, thrillers, espionage and suspense books. He is a big fan of the Jack Reacher series, James Bond, and also a huge fan of the author Dan Brown. His works are a reflection of the books he reads.

Miguel's favorite past time is waking up early on a weekend and watching the English Premier League with his daughters. He also plays soccer when he gets a chance. He, like his twin brother, Michael, are also into music and Miguel dabbles in music production, making his own beats to listen while he is driving to work.
