Michelle has a deep desire to help people find happiness, fulfillment, and inner peace. She is the co-founder of the non-profit organization Peaceful Mind Peaceful Life, which is dedicated to furthering the mental health and wellness of individuals through workshops, courses, programming, and an online community. Michelle and her mom, Barb, are the co-hosts of the podcast Life Happens with Barb & Michelle. Together, they bring listeners weekly episodes filled with heartfelt conversations, actionable insights, and inspiring guest stories — all designed to help people grow, thrive, and live authentically. Michelle holds a degree in Journalism from Indiana University, is a registered yoga teacher, and has earned numerous certifications and completed extensive training in meditation and mindfulness. She is passionate about guiding the next generation, leading workshops and seminars on mindfulness, meditation, and personal empowerment at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Through The Barb Schmidt Fellowship for Cultivating Community Involvement, Activism, and Social Change at FAU, Michelle shares mindfulness tools with teens — one of her greatest passions. She is dedicated to empowering the next generation of thought leaders by teaching these practices to teens and young adults.
