Michael Lee Anderson is a Navy submarine and destroyer veteran, aerospace innovation leader, and founder of INOV8R Press LLC. At the intersection of energy, engineering, and vision, Anderson explores bold solutions to today’s most urgent challenges, both in reality and through fiction.

In his acclaimed nonfiction work, Thorium-Powered Abundance, Anderson distills decades of nuclear science and infrastructure strategy into a visionary yet grounded guide for policymakers, engineers, investors, and curious citizens ready to move from climate anxiety to climate capability.

Drawing on his background in submarines, defense systems, and technology innovation, Anderson brings technical clarity and strategic insight to complex topics. His accessible style, blending personal experience with real-world application, reveals how overlooked technologies like thorium molten salt reactors could unlock a future of secure energy, fresh water, thriving agriculture, and off-world expansion.

He also writes science fiction thrillers that explore the moment when human ingenuity outruns human wisdom, examining the unintended consequences of unchecked technological progress.

His breakout dystopian sci-fi novel, Harvested: The Fall of Nature, brings the same technical authenticity and strategic depth to fiction, imagining futures where advanced technologies collide with moral consequence. Anderson’s stories delve into genetic engineering, artificial intelligence, energy systems, and the fallout of progress pursued without restraint.

In the Harvested series, Anderson imagines a future shaped by engineered perfection and collapsing ecosystems, asking not just what technology can do - but what it should do. His characters navigate impossible choices in societies where technology’s promise is inseparable from ethical risk.

Blending high-stakes action and ethical dilemmas, Anderson’s fiction sits at the intersection of Red Rising, The Expanse, and the thought-provoking drama of Gattaca, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Never Let Me Go.

When not writing, Anderson mentors innovators and builds ventures through INOV8R Press LLC, always with a focus on pairing bold ideas with responsibility.
