From his earliest days Michael has been obsessed with narrative. As a youngster he wrote short stories and, when older, turned them into short films. Michael eventually brought those talents into his own advertising agency - winning countless awards for creative writing and superb production. He eventually began directing and spent the majority of his career in New York and Los Angeles, where his vision and expertise were tapped by every major advertiser in nearly every industry category. His directorial work also garnered hundreds of awards and world-wide recognition and include a Gold Lion from the Cannes Film Festival. The Spider on the Ceiling is Michael's first novel and within its pages a reader will find all the elements Michael has become known for.
