Michael Hebler, a passionate writer based in Southwest Florida, has a rich background rooted in Los Angeles County, where he was born, and Orange County, California, where he was raised. From the young age of 13, Hebler's imagination was sparked by the works of renowned authors like Dean Koontz, Stephen King, and Robert R. McCammon, fueling his ambition to craft stories that must be enthralling and character-driven. His writing spans various fiction genres, yet he finds a special connection with thriller and horror. After a brief hiatus to explore diverse interests, Hebler was thrilled to dive back into the literary world in 2023. His primary focus is on completing a new trilogy in his acclaimed Chupacabra Series. Alongside this, he's eager to delve into new narrative ideas that have been slowly simmering to a boil. In 2024, Hebler is set to unveil the RETURN OF THE CHUPACABRA. This gripping tale, set in 1990, reawakens the legendary Chupacabra after a century of dormancy. The plot thickens as a troubled young boy stumbles upon and forms an unlikely bond with this enigmatic creature, setting the stage for a resurgence of its bloodthirsty vendetta. Additionally, Hebler plans to release a collection of short stories, THE DEAD DIARIES, as well as his first children’s book in more than 13 years based on the early days of Halloween.
