Michael Gershe was born in New York, but left for Miami, FL when he was 4 years old dragging his family with him. He was a competitive swimmer along with his brother and earned a swimming scholarship to Ashland University in Ohio. Michael earned a Communications degree and because he liked school so much, attended The University of Akron where he earned a Master's degree in Higher Education. It was during his last semester in graduate school where he began his comedy career and has been performing stand-up comedy for nearly 30 years. He created The Magic of Life program which is a fun, relatable impaired driving prevention program where he has presented at schools, military bases and courts for DUI offenders. Michael enjoys cycling, hiking and being a nature photographer in NE Ohio.
