Michael Herbert is a Kindom Award National Finalist who serves as Pastor, Elder, and Evangelist at Eagles Nest Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin. His ministry extends beyond the church walls into the state’s prison system, where he brings the hope of Christ to inmates. He also ministers at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, sharing the gospel with men facing homelessness and hardship. Michael frequently conducts services in churches and conferences across Wisconsin and Illinois. When not preaching or teaching, Michael invests his creativity into writing and producing music, sharing it on his YouTube channel @ru4lifefaithchurchnb. He is also active on Facebook, where he connects with his community and shares ministry updates. Michael’s life reflects a passion for the gospel, a heart for the marginalized, and a dedication to equipping believers to live in the fullness of their identity in Christ. Michael was a part of a Pro-Life radio and TV show on WVCY. Has also appeared on Joy 1340 radio here in Milwaukee. He is a 1999 graduate of the International School of Christ, Beaumont, TX. Michael is a multimedia storyteller, songwriter, and visual artist whose work weaves together themes of suffering, resilience, and hope. Based in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, he draws from a deep well of faith and lived experience to create books, songs, and videos that speak to the wounded and the searching. Whether composing a gospel anthem, designing a book cover, or curating testimonies of healing, Michael approaches every project with poetic sensitivity and technical precision. His creative ministry spans genres—from progressive rock to country ballads, from biblical devotionals to secular health anthems—each crafted to uplift, challenge, and connect. Michael is passionate about transforming pain into purpose. His work invites readers and listeners to wrestle with hard questions, find beauty in brokenness, and rediscover the sacred in everyday life. Through his books and music, he offers not just stories, but soul-level encouragement for those navigating grief, illness, or spiritual doubt. When he’s not writing or producing, Michael is often exploring new digital tools, optimizing outreach strategies, or collaborating with fellow creatives to bring light into dark places.
