I am Michael C C Adams. I am best known for my work on the American Civil War and WWII. I won a book prize for my analysis of Civil War generalship, and have spoken at Gettysburg four times. My WWII book, The Best War Ever, is considered a classic and is in use in classrooms across America. It's also a good read for the history buff who just enjoys delving into the past. I have now branched out into historical fiction, which I write under the pen name of Colin MacIver. I recently published a novel about a spy in the 1745 Scottish rebellion whose code name was Pickle.
