With the publication of IS IT OK TO BE QUIET?, Michael Brisciana is returning to his first love of writing, through which he is eager to share the joys of reflection, personal warmth, and quietude with others. During a prior career in HR, Michael was focused on aligning people’s hearts, minds, and passions for the greater good. Along the way, he authored many pieces on leadership and communications, culminating in publication of EMPATHETIC LEADERSHIP about “leading with kindness, courage, and confidence.” He now tunes his empathetic ear to children’s inner voices with the first in a series of picture books focused on introverted children, aka "quiet kids" -- a club in which he remains a proud member. He is grateful for discovering introversion was a gift that could bestow powers of kindness and contentment to those it touches. Michael dedicates this work to quiet kids of all ages. An avid traveler, Michael is thankful to have visited many of the beautiful places he will be writing about in future works, including an unforgettable semester in Rome, where he dabbled in painting, literature, and all-things gelato.
