Dr. Michael Aziz is board certified in Internal Medicine. He completed his training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Staten Island University Hospital in New York. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Internal Medicine. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in the United Kingdom. Dr. Aziz has been a key note speaker at numerous national and international medical conferences, including those organized by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Dr. Aziz is the founder and director of Midtown Integrative Medicine in New York City, a practice that focuses on traditional, functional, complementary, and integrative medicine. Dr. Aziz has written articles for major magazines and publications including The LA Times, The Washington Post, The NY Post, The Daily Mail, Harpers' Bazaar, and Katie Couric Media. He has been a guest on hundreds of radio shows including NPR, and the Mel Robbins show. He has also appeared on hundreds of TV shows nationally and internationally including GMA, Fox & Friends, The View, The Doctors, Dr. Oz, and the Will Cain show.

Dr. Aziz is also the author of the best selling book The Perfect 10 Diet which was translated into more than a dozen foreign languages in 2010. He has written in many international magazines in the UK, Italy, France, Japan, Malaysia, Slovenia, Brazil, Poland, and China. He has also been a guest on Dubai TV, France 24, BBC, and Chinese’s CGTN. Dr. Aziz was one of the early pioneers to go against the outdated low-fat guidelines and suggesting to eat more fat to lose fat in 2010 long before the new USDA food pyramid came in 2026. He advocated a very balanced approach versus the extreme keto of the 2010's. He was also one of the first physicians to warn the public about the dangers of low-carb diets from all the chemicals, artificial sweeteners, and nitrites. Dr. Aziz lives in New York City.
