Michael A. Durney first published in 2011 as the author of Clifford Wendell, Daydreamer Extraordinaire, a wonderful young adult novel. Since then, he has written eight more novels, his latest: The Writer’s Group Murders is a psychological murder mystery. Genre include Thriller, mystery, crime, young adult, and the occasional short story. He lives with his wife, Linda in North Carolina soaking up the North Carolina mountains, rivers and lakes. "I've been writing since my youngest years, but never put a darn word on paper. At my late age, there's no more space in my brain for virtual works of art, I have taken to pencil, paper, computer, and storytelling to relieve the headaches." When he is not writing, Michael builds customer loyalty programs for independent merchants through his company, Interactive Marketing, and his proprietary software, Welcome Back Rewards. “I am a benevolent scarecrow with a rich perspective of diverse creatures and human intermediaries.”
