She has held leadership roles at Capgemini, Mercer, Korn Ferry, and Deloitte, and is the author of Effective: How to Do Great Work in a Fast-Changing World (2026) and Work Here Now: Think Like a Human and Build a Powerhouse Workplace (2023). Melissa’s work balances humanism and pragmatism, and is powered by analytics and research. She specializes in complex topics like the human side of digital transformation and the changing face of C-suite leadership. Melissa is a member of the MIT Sloan Management Review’s Editorial Board, and one of their most widely-read columnists.
