Melane Mullings is a cancer survivor and former registered nurse, turned successful entrepreneur who transformed two challenging life experiences into success in business. Melane is a self-described "Ph.D. graduate from the business school of hard knocks." She started her first entrepreneurial venture at the cusp of the Great Recession with no business education or training, and minimal capital. After 13 years of growing it to become a sustainably successful, impactful venture, Melane successfully sold her company. Today, she is a business management consultant and the founder of Aere Management Consulting, which teaches entrepreneurs and business owners how to create and develop purpose-driven, impactful, sustainably successful businesses. Philanthropist, mentor with Futurpreneur Canada, and board member of the Canadian organization, Immigrant Women in Business, Melane is also a passionate Christian, lover of live jazz and all things Hawaii!
