Maximilian Noel Schimanzik is an author from Bielefeld who specialises in poetry. After finishing school at the Laborschule Bielefeld and attending the Oberstufen-kolleg, he completed a voluntary social year at the Bielefeld City Library. He wrote his first book "Stille Wünsche" (Silent Wishes) as part of the "Thalia Storysteller Awards" competition and ensured that his book was distributed locally. He likes to write down his thoughts and leave them unchanged. Deep reflection on society, life and the invisible realms of feelings and emotions drive him to create his poems. Reaching out for the truth and realising what is happening around you, what drives people and how your own experiences and insights can influence your future is what his works are all about.
