Coming from the tropical island life of Nassau, Bahamas, the author was raised within the tenets of the Pentecostal faith. Drawn to the world of fashion, she set out to pursue a career in design, honing her skills at the Fashion Institute of Technology in both New York and London. However, early attempts at opening a fashion studio in Nassau revealed the need for further experience. Returning to New York, the author immersed herself in the world of major fashion houses. There, she gained invaluable insights and navigated a global scene that brought them face-to-face with individuals from all walks of life —from presidents and CEOs to the dedicated custodians who kept those worlds running. The author also found a universal concern for one's ultimate fate. Her curiosity, coupled with a personal desire to understand the spiritual well-being of loved ones, fueled a quest for answers. Believing our earthly experiences inform our spiritual needs, the author delved into the Bible, seeking straightforward explanations to life's most profound questions about our eternal journey. While not claiming the mantle of a scholar, the author humbly offers this work as a beacon of illumination, hoping its simple truths and clear presentation may guide others seeking answers about their own final destination.
