Maurice X. Alvarez swears he's from outer space, but he was really born and raised in New York City. He began writing fiction at an early age, taking events in his daily life and altering them to fill the pages. But his fascination with science and technology shifted his reading and writing into the realms of science fiction and fantasy. He writes exciting character-driven adventures that span time and space and question the boundaries of sci-fi and fantasy. Sometimes there is even a little romance to keep things spicy.

When Maurice isn't writing he can be found cruising around on his bicycle or experimenting with DIY projects around the house.
