Dr. Matt Friesen is a student, teacher, researcher, author, and speaker. Matt went back to school later in life, completed a PhD in Sociology from the University of Oregon (go Ducks!) and taught at a small private university in Ohio. When not writing, he kayaks with the family (and high-energy Corgi), hikes Oregon’s Cascade Range, and of course, reads a lot.
