Mary Beth Davis was born near Birmingham, Alabama in 1966. She grew up on the Black Warrior River, playing in and around the river and the woods. At age 17, she moved to Sarasota, Florida, where she discovered a world she had not known. She spent more time at the beach in the cooler weather than in the hot summer, because she did not tan; she sun-burned easily. Now Mary Beth lives in Mobile, Alabama, where every occasion is an opportunity for a party, or get-together. She graduated from University of Mobile in 1995. She spends her free time writing and enjoying her loving family. She is a member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church and has a blessedly wonderful church family. Mary Beth loves animals, especially any kind of cats, like tigers. She still prefers the beach in cooler weather, and enjoys spending time on the beautiful Alabama Gulf Coast beaches.
