Mary Baird, PHR is a Senior Employee Experience Strategist who has spent more than 18 years helping organizations transform how their people experience work. As Founder of The Simplifiers, she partners with Fortune 500 companies, global enterprises, and high-growth startups to help leaders listen better, fix what’s broken, and build workplaces where people fall back in love with work. Mary has led training strategy architecture for Samsung Electronics America, advised executives on employee engagement and change management, and developed leadership programs that have measurably improved performance and retention. Earlier in her career, she produced award-winning, large-scale employee engagement events for clients like Google, Microsoft, Meta, Intel, and Electronic Arts—seeing firsthand how shared experiences shape culture and connection. She is also the host of The Simplifiers Podcast, a globally recognized show with listeners in more than 155 countries and over 400 interviews featuring executives, authors, and thought leaders on leadership, culture, and the future of work. Her work has been featured in Forbes, Newsweek, The Huffington Post, MSN, The Times, and Metro, and she was named one of Special Events Magazine’s “Top 25 Young Event Pros to Watch.” Mary’s superpower is making the complex simple—helping leaders apply what they learn in practical ways to rebuild trust, empower people, and create workplaces that actually work. She lives in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, fosters pugs through DFW Pug Rescue, and loves bringing people together by hosting community dinner parties.
