May God have mercy on Carrie’s enemies, because I have none. Carrie - When I stumble out of the fog into a motorcycle club compound, the guys seem more freaked out over my name (something about an old movie?) than the fact that I’m covered in blood and asking for a jug of sulfuric acid.

Angel: I’m a teacher. Or rather, I want to be. Fresh out of college, I went on a date with the wrong man and ended up drugged and helpless in a really bad place. The motorcycle club I was taken to was no place for a woman, as I found out the hard way....

Calista – When my stepfather decides the best way to get himself out of trouble is to trade me to the man who owns his gambling debts, I know it’s time to get the hell outta Dodge.

I’ve been sent to infiltrate Grim Road—specifically looking for any information to do with the man they call Bear. I didn’t expect to jump into the man’s arms on the first try.

My life has been shaped by some kind of underworld scheming I don’t really understand. Or maybe I don’t want to know. But now I’m living in darkness and violence, unable to break free but unwilling to succumb to the drug induced stupor my captives force on me.

My life pretty much took a hard left a year ago when I first met Lemon. She’s wise beyond her years and as abrasive and sarcastic as they come. The second she busts my VP’s balls -- literally -- I know I’d never be able to forget her. A year later, I’m still infatuated with the vicious woman.

When I went to the penthouse, I was expecting a playboy. I wasn’t even surprised when the playboy in question answered the door stark naked. The gun surprised me, but, I just roll with it because it’s a job. Given my present circumstances, work is hard to come by....

It's obvious there's something sinister at work, but no amount of threats and demands will override a closed adoption order. It looks like Jerrica is gone from my life forever, but I've got one more trick up my sleeve. Jerrica made friends with a woman from a local motorcycle club....

Lucrecia: All I have in the world is my sister Mae. We were adrift, on our own until a guy from Black Reign, one of Lake Worth’s most infamous MCs, spotted us and took us in. Rycks isn’t cruel, but he’s hard on us. We have to earn our keep, but then everyone does....

Who knew I’d find my destiny at Christmas? Not me. Or her daddy. Don’t mean I ain’t keeping her. Darcy: I didn’t run away from a sadistic stepfather and a mother who wouldn’t protect me just to be carted off by some strange man. I fought the son of a bitch....

Fleur: Never in a million years would I have expected a woman I considered a friend to betray me in the worst possible way. Yet it happened. Drugged and in the back room of a BDSM club, I was about to be used in a brutal way. Until he exploded to my rescue.

I live a life of wealth and luxury. There isn’t anything I can’t have...except my freedom. So I turned to the computer. And that’s where I met my match. More than my match. And when my life suddenly falls apart, he’s the one to find me. But he’ll also be the one to rip my heart in two....

Never in a million years did I think I’d meet up with my childhood hero like this. Beaten down and scared out of my mind, my heart dropped when I realized who had me. I’ve never been so humiliated in my life, but Gage Bohannon was even harder to resist....

I’ve made some bad choices in my life. The worst was falling for a man who kidnapped me and held me hostage. He wants my baby. Why, I have no idea, but there’s no way he’s getting it without a fight. Once this is over, assuming I’m still alive, I’m going to need some serious help....

The father of my child is pressing for custody. Which is how I ended up dancing at Salvation’s Angels, a strip club owned by the notorious Salvation’s Bane MC. I have to earn enough to pay my attorney, then I’m out of here....

When I tried to get a job with Salvations Bane MC at their strip club, their security saw right through my fake ID. Lucky for me, the club sent me to Beach Fit, their fitness club, until I turned 18. Now I work at Angels, and the crowd here loves me. Stryker’s still looking out for me.

Winter -- My life hasn’t been easy. For so long, my sister has been the only one I could rely on....

Hannah’s stubborn, abrasive, and vicious. She’s also mine. Hannah: My life as I knew it ended the night my boyfriend tried to rape me. I killed the swine, and I’m not sorry. After that night, it became my mission to rid the world of as many predators as I could.

Mariana -- If it weren’t for bad luck… Yeah. That’s me. I found myself stranded on the side of the road after my boyfriend threw me out. My mother, bless her heart, thinks I’m dragging her to the pits of hell because I got myself knocked up.

The gangs of the underground can be brutal. I know this well, and have the scars to prove it. So when a team of rough-looking men start nosing around the slums of Rockwell, I make it my business to know what they’re up to....
