Mark Fabian is associate professor of public policy at the University of Warwick, UK. He is also an affiliate researcher at the Bennett Institute for Public Policy at Cambridge University, and an associate at the Institute for Social Change at the University of Tasmania. He was previously a Fulbright Scholar at the Brookings Institution in Washington DC. Fabian studies 'wellbeing' from an interdisciplinary perspective with an emphasis on public policy issues. He has written on what wellbeing is, how it can be measured, how it can inform public policy, and how it should be studied. His work has appeared in top journals across multiple fields including Perspectives on Psychological Science, Journal of European Public Policy, European Journal for Philosophy of Science, Fiscal Studies, and Journal of Happiness Studies. His research employs mixed methods and he has published philosophical, quantitative, and qualitative papers.
