Mark DeYmaz is a thought-leading author, pastor, and recognized champion of the Multiethnic Church Movement. He planted the Mosaic Church of Central Arkansas in 2001 where he continues to serve as Directional Leader. In 2004, he co-founded the Mosaix Global Network and today serves as its executive director and convener of the triennial Mosaix Conference. In 2008, he launched Vine and Village and remains active on the board of this non-profit focused on advancing the common good in Little Rock's University District. DeYmaz has written eight books including his groundbreaking works, including The Coming Revolution in Church Economics (Baker Books, 2019), and Building a Healthy Multi-Ethnic Church (Jossey-Bass, 2007)—a 2008 Christianity Today Book of the Year Award finalist and an Outreach magazine Resource of the Year Award. His most recent book, Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace: Becoming Like Jesus Through the Prayer of St. Francis (NavPress, 2026) equips readers to step into the tension of our times with clarity, courage, and compassion. DeYmaz earned an M.A. in Exegetical Theology from Western Seminary in Portland, OR, in 1987, and a D.Min. from Phoenix Seminary in 2006. He is an Adjunct Professor at Wheaton College where he established the Mosaix Institute at Wheaton College Billy Graham Center in 2023. Mark and his wife, Linda, have been married for nearly 40 years and reside in Little Rock, Arkansas, as do their four adult children and six grandchildren. Linda is the author of the book, Mommy, Please Don't Cry: There Are No Tears in Heaven (Multnomah/Random House, 1996), providing hope and comfort for those who grieve the loss of a child. A finalist for a Nortth Amercian Retailers Choice Award, the book is a certified best-seller with 150,000+ copies in print.
