Mark Christensen is the author of Scarlet and the Swift, Nausea in the Clouds, and The Lost Requiem of Vienna. Originally from California, he has traveled the world writing for various forms of media. Most notably, he lived in the Eastern European country of Slovakia, where he composed music and worked as a press editor, scriptwriter, and newsreader for the national press agency. He has used his intimate knowledge of European cities and history to write his novels. While in Slovakia, a song he wrote in Slovak called "Devat" became a viral hit and was featured on the country's top radio stations and television networks.
