A critically acclaimed author of fifteen books, Mark Alan Leslie's 2022 novel, "A Cause Most Splendid: The Battle for the Bible" was called Best Novel of the Year by the American Family Association. His "True North: Tice's Story" about a slave escaping over the Underground Railroad was a Publishers Weekly Featured Novel.

The winner of seven national magazine writing awards, Leslie has been hailed as "a master storyteller," "one of the two best novelists of the 21st century" with a "genuine flair for compelling, entertaining and deftly crafted storytelling," whose "insights into world politics and contemporary culture are staggering and frighteningly realistic."

His works span the genres of contemporary action/adventure, historical "novelography," end-times thriller, allegory, devotional and self-help. Each work has attained accolades. For instance:

"Chasing the Music" — "This was 'Indiana Jones' wrapped up in 'Romancing the Stone' overlaid with 'National Treasure' which reads like the best action-adventure movie I've ever seen."

"The Last Aliyah" — "Could turn out to be the definitive book, from the shame of replacement theology to the Christian involvement in the rescue of the Jews" and "engaging, entertaining, informative and convicting."

"The Three Sixes" — "Will make readers think they're living too close to catastrophe."

"True North: Tice's Story" — "The well-researched historical elements make it believable and even, at times, educational."

"Operation Jeremiah's Jar" — "Now this should be a movie. A great one!"

"Torn Asunder" — "a rollercoaster ride," and "an apocalyptic thriller."
has written three historical novels, four modern-day mystery/adventure/thrillers, two golf books, a devotional and a Christian self-help book.

"Midnight Rider for the Morning Star: From the Life and Times of Francis Asbury" —"In a world of namely-pamby Christianity, along comes a story of a man who played no games with God. ""An exhilarating story that challenges the reader in an intense way."

Leslie's career as a newspaper and magazine editor and writer spanned 30 years before he began writing books full-time — all from a Christian worldview. He was the founding editor of Golf Course News (now Golf Industry), which became a leading golf-industry publication in his 12 years at the helm, and has written two golf books filled with quotes and stories from his interviews with icons like Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead, Patti Berg, Kathy Whitworth, Gary Player and Ben Crenshaw. The books, available online, are entitled "Putting a Little Spin on It: The Design's the Thing!" and "Putting a Little Spin on It: The Grooming's the Thing!"
