I am a motivational speaker, composer and have received numerous awards. I'm also an author, member of Sisters in Crime, professional singer, musician, CD producer, published song writer, and violinist. I'm a native San Franciscan and set my books in the Bay Area.. Writing my first book, an autobiographical novel, The Other Side of Alzheimer's, a Caregiver's Story, helped me deal with the loss of my family and gave me a deep desire to help others understand what a diagnosis of Alzheimer's means. I know what it's like to be a caregiver while trying to maintain the essence of who I am. Writing murder mysteries has now become my passion. The Gospel Choir Murder is the first in the Evelyn Jenkins Series. Evelyn is the owner of a travel agency and a member of the Gospel Choir of Oakland's Gabriel Missionary Baptist Church for the past year. The handsome Pastor has just asked her to set up and lead a four-city tour. How could she say "No" to him? A successful tour could help Evelyn grow her travel business. This will be Evelyn's first tour with the choir and she's looking forward to really getting to know her fellow choir members outside church.
