Marie Parker is a Christian modern romance author from central California. In the first grade, her teacher expressed to her parents that she had quite a talent for storytelling and predicted that she may be a writer someday. She dabbled with creative writing all throughout her school years, and then in her early twenties started writing short stories and self-published them online. But a series of life events and the desire to focus on her family led her to put down her pen. In 2022, she picked up her pen after twelve years and started writing again. Marie learned that she especially loves the intricacies of how relationships are built and work. Which led her to the Romance genre. She pours her own life experiences with relationships into her creative writing, especially the one she has with the love of her life and husband, Colby. She enjoys cultivating the wisps of imagination that cross her path both from inside and outside of everyday life. One relationship she especially treasures is the one she has with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Marie loves to reflect the love Christ has for his people and weave it into her storylines as an integral part. She loves to share with people that Christ’s love is all encompassing and extends to all who believe.
