Margie Deck lives in the Pacific Northwest where she is working on her next story collection. Belanger Books published two of her collections in December 2023--THE GENIUS OF THE PLACE, a collection of original gothic tales (includes the award winning "Whitney's Reflection") inspired by Author Conan Doyle’s work in The Strand Magazine, and a collection of Sherlock Holmes adventures, WITH REMARKABLE CUNNING. She is co-editor with Nancy Holder of SHERLOCK HOLMES OF BAKING STREET. She is also co-editor with Nancy Holder of the Arthur Conan Doyle Society's "The Terror of Blue John Gap" manuscript annotation project. Her short stories and essays have been published by Belanger Books, Wildside Press and others.
