Marcus Lo is the author of How to Hack College, a straight forward guide designed to help students graduate faster, save money, and build real-world skills. Over five years, Marcus and his co-author Marshall tested the most effective college strategies—now all packed into one clear, practical book. Marcus earned both a M.S. in Finance and B.S. in Accounting from USC in just four years, thanks to a full-ride scholarship and a relentless drive to beat the traditional system. At the same time, he built and expanded Venturway, his global management consulting firm, working with clients across industries while traveling the world. He also mentored people in MMA and balanced a full-time workload during school. Today, Marcus lives in Los Angeles, runs Venturway, oversees a growing real estate portfolio, and continues to explore global cultures through culinary. His mission is simple: empower students to take control of their education—and their future.
