Lynn Zubernis is a psychologist, a university professor, a proud mom -- and a passionate fangirl. She has spent the last 15 years going behind the scenes of her favorite television shows. Her latest book, "Supes Ain't Always Heroes: Inside the Complex Characters and Twisted Psychology of 'The Boys'", takes a deep dive into the hit Prime Video series, with chapters by psychologists and media experts, and exclusive interviews with Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy), Aya Cash (Stormfront), Nathan Mitchell (Black Noir) and more. Lynn has also edited two books on her forever favorite show, Supernatural. She also co-edited "Supernatural Psychology" along with Travis Langley, and with fellow fangirl and professor Kathy Larsen, wrote "Fangasm: Supernatural Fangirls", which chronicles their often humorous (and occasionally embarrassing) misadventures on a wild and crazy 'roadtrip through fandom' and behind the scenes on Supernatural. They also wrote a more academic exploration of Supernatural and its fans, "Fandom At The Crossroads", and edited "Fan Phenomena: Supernatural", with essays by fans, researchers, cast and crew of the show, including Misha Collins and Richard Speight Jr. Lynn also writes a column in Psychology Today and for MovieTvTechGeeks, and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Fandom Studies.
