Lynn Raven was born and raised in the horse country of Northern Virginia. For nearly twenty years, Raven was an award-winning entertainment publicist on both coasts including at The Paley Center for Media (as Associate Director, Public Relations) and National Geographic Society. Always writing stories, Raven attended creative writing classes at University of California, Los Angeles, and has written several feature film screenplays. She was a finalist for the Diane Thomas Screenwriting Award at UCLA and the Houston International Film Festival. She also took media writing classes at UCLA, Georgetown University, and George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Retired from show biz, Raven lives in Virginia on Whimsey Hill 2 where she continues to write as well as works for a local non-profit. She is a member of Romance Writers of America, Virginia Romance Writers, James River Writers, and Sisters in Crime.
