Hello, All! Welcome to my author page. I am supposed to write interesting things about myself here. So, let's give it a go. I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Which is my "dream" place to live. I can't describe how beautiful it is up here or was before Hurricane Helene hit. I live in Yancey Couty, and we were devastated by Helene. My book "The Day The Mountains Cried" tells my story. It is 100% the truth of what happened before, during and after Helene up here. I am a retired nurse, which was my dream job. My favorite pastimes are quilting, exploring the beautiful mountains near my home with my husband and dogs, and, of course, writing. I have three adult children, three grandchildren, and two chihuahuas. Oh, and one husband for the last glorious 40 years! I hope you enjoy my books.
