Lucent Steele writes stories about what happens when humanity collides with destiny, when the impossible becomes inevitable. His books weave light LitRPG System mechanics with near-future science fiction and deeply personal character arcs. At their heart, they’re about growth: leveling up, pushing past limits, and finding out whether humanity is truly ready for the power it has always dreamed of obtaining. Lucent’s debut series, The Ascension Framework, explores a future where nanotech, karmic systems, and alien incursions force humanity to confront what it’s truly made of. The first three books are available on Amazon now, with the fourth coming in Spring 2026. His second series begins with "Cardinal Velocity," and is a fast-paced, high-octane thriller LitRPG, where the same man in three universes is inducted into the System at the same time. One is a Navy SEAL, the second an elite major league pitcher, and the third a cybersecurity genius. They must each race to become strong enough for what is coming. Book two, "Cardinal Counterweight" will be published in Summer 2026. Lucent spent his career in sales in the steel industry and is passionate about sustainability and the future of humanity. He lives in Michigan with his wife, their dog Minnie, and their cat Kiki.
