Lucas has always had a love for comics and games, so much so that he opened his own retail store and later became the Director of Promotions for a game company. This work experience has given him over 20 years of roleplaying-game storytelling experience in the supernatural, horror and fantasy genres. He has created dozens of worlds, characters and plots for his games. Lucas has written a wealth of material to support his storytelling, but only started writing books in the last couple of years. Lucas also volunteers his time at schools spreading his love for writing. Recently, Lucas has been spending a lot of his time sitting in front of the computer with his oldest daughter (age 12), Sophia, writing stories that they come up with together. So far, they have written six books together (the Wielders book series) and are still going strong. He hopes to start writing with his two younger daughters soon (something about zombie stuffed animals, I think). Lucas lives with his family on a hilltop close to the Kentucky River Palisades. His loving family includes Lucas' wife, the local librarian, three wonderfully silly daughters, several outdoor cats and their dog Peanut.
