Louise Higgins is an author, illustrator and award-winning designer, specialising in heart-warming children’s picture books and witty, uplifting books for adults.

Blending visual artistry with the power of the written word, Louise crafts stories that reflect her love of Irish heritage, family, friendships and humor. Her popular titles for adults include the humorous 'Pause, Applause, Menopause', 'Mammy Knows Best', and the heartfelt 'Irish Sayings, Blessings and Proverbs That Touch the Heart’.

For younger readers, Louise writes and illustrates meaningful stories, including the Vietnam adoption tale 'Dreams Do Come True' and the whimsical series 'The Adventures of Snuggles the Magic Unicorn Bunny'.

Formerly a successful interior designer and columnist, Louise returned to her lifelong love of storytelling following a health-related career change. Based in Ireland, she now focuses on what matters most: health, family, and the belief that a sprinkle of good humor can help people through the most difficult times.
