Louis W. Hirschmann is a contemporary writer of fiction who began his career with marketing articles that were published while he was completing his Master of Management graduate degree at Kellogg Northwestern in 1975. He wrote his first fictional novel, "Dirty Little Secrets", in 1997 after retiring from a 20-year career as a stock broker and investment banker. That first novel was re-written and expanded to become "Parallax Reflections" in 2021. With "Parallax Reflections", Lou began to develop an ongoing saga featuring the life and adventures of Jeff Vetch, a charismatic and creative man who grew up in the wealthy suburbs of Chicago in the 1950's. Each new novel that Mr. Hirschmann has written and published shows a new facet of Jeff's illustrious life, from childhood in "Me and Mister Chips: a boy's adventures with his puppy" and "Fireflies of Summer" through teenage years with "Parallax Reflections" and "MacGregory Chips Goes Ivy League" as well as growing to adulthood with novels such as "Mezzanine at the Breakers", and "Flash!", an adventurous novel about Jeff's evolving career as a screenwriter in Hollywood. Lou Hirschmann has currently written over a dozen novels featuring the character of Jeff Vetch, and continues to create new works. Lou Hirschmann's novels have been made available in digital marketplaces and booksellers all over the world. He lives in Coronado, California with his partner, James.
