My name is Lori Johnson. I am so full of gratitude for my life. At 67 years old I enjoy an adventurous life with my husband. I am a mother to two wonderful adult children and their amazing spouses. I have two grandboys who constantly remind me of the joy of being in the present moment. A true example of living life fully and appreciating life in the here and now. I am an educator at heart. I loved being a teacher so much that I still teach at our local college. There is nothing better than spending time learning from my students and offering them some of my pearls of wisdom that come with life experiences. I will always love the energy and feelings of anticipation for our future world when I am in a school. My little cockapoo doggie expresses unconditional love everyday. She is my biggest supporter in life. I love to walk in the forest with her and just take in the beauty. Watching her run and play is a gift I look forward to...even at 5:30 a.m. My book is an inspired piece of writing. My beautiful infant son died 34 years ago. I have kept this story in the shadows for all of these years. I was tapped recently by the universe to share my story. To take a story of deep grief turned into resiliency, love, forgiveness and hope out of the shadows and illuminate light on it for others to find comfort and belief in healing. I intend to continue to support families (women) in their most difficult times. A place to find community and support. It is my heart leading me and I truly feel so blessed to be sharing my story to help others.
