I love getting out there exploring the Cornish countryside, but I'm hardly a super fit athlete. Just a girl that likes to roam. With that in mind, I like to think my books can be used by anyone, so they all come with detailed instructions, proper maps, and plenty of stories about what you're walking past.

The Cornish Walks series started with three books that go into one area in real depth, covering Mevagissey, Fowey, and dog walks between Truro and Fowey. After that came the Top Walks guides, which take in wider ground with circular routes across West, Mid and East Cornwall. If you want a longer day out there's Walking with Saints and Tinners for the coast to coast routes, and Cycling in Cornwall for anyone on two wheels.

I've also written A History of Mevagissey, along with Scribbles from the Edge and Losing it in Cornwall, two collections of the columns I wrote for the Cornish Guardian.

When I'm not walking, I'm busy writing and publishing under Mudlark's Press. There are free walks to download over at cornishwalks if you'd like to try one before you buy.
