Liz Harvie was born in Northampton in 1974. She stayed with her mother in a Maternity Home for 10 days, when she was taken from her by a social worker and put into foster care, before her adoptive parents took her home at 8 weeks old. Liz is a victim of forced adoption, among 185,000 other babies taken in the 30 or so years after the 2nd World War ended. Liz lives in Camberley, Surrey with her husband, two daughters and two dogs. She is an End Of Life & Pastoral Care Companion volunteer at her local hospital and hospice.
