Lisa Schelbe, Ph.D., MSW is an Associate Professor at the Florida State University College of Social Work in Tallahassee, Florida. She is a Faculty Affiliate at the Florida Institute for Child Welfare and Co-editor of the Child Adolescent Social Work Journal. Lisa is also the Director of the Child Well-Being Research Network. She earned her doctorate in social work from the University of Pittsburgh where she was a Doris Duke Fellow for the Promotion of Child Well-being. Lisa's research focuses on young people aging out of foster care with a special interest in their experiences with post-secondary education and parenting. She is a qualitative methodologist with experience working on interdisciplinary teams. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys scuba diving and outside activities.
