Lisa Palcic holds the prestigious title of IPTPA (International Pickleball Teaching Professionals Association) Master Professional, a distinction shared by fewer than 50 individuals worldwide. She played a pivotal role in developing and implementing the IPTPA’s national rating system and is currently credentialed as a Master Pro, Level 2 Certified Instructor, Certified Rating Specialist, and Ratings Director.

Throughout her career, Lisa has run many teaching certification workshops under the IPTPA and has led teaching certifications, pickleball camps, lessons, clinics, tournaments, fundraisers, and numerous facility and program consultations across the country. She contributed to the opening of several new pickleball facilities and consulted with Holland America Cruise Lines to bring pickleball aboard their ships. Lisa has run camps and clinics with renowned professionals such as Tyson McGuffin, Lee Whitwell, Michelle Esquivel, Scott Moore, and Kyle McKenzie. Her expertise has been featured in articles and videos for Pickleball Magazine and other publications, with her YouTube video "Pickleball Basics" amassing over 2.1 million views. As a competitor, she has participated in major tournaments, including the Nationals at the 5.0 level, Indoor Nationals at the 5.0 level, and the US Open at both the 5.0 and Pro levels.

The Complete Illustrated Guide to Pickleball originated from years of requests for an instructional manual from students who appreciated Lisa's comprehensive teaching style. Her expertise in body and stroke mechanics, combined with more than three decades of coaching experience and thousands of hours spent teaching players and professionals alike, has shaped her into a highly respected instructor across the country. Her work with the IPTPA has further honed her skills and teaching methodologies.
