Lisa McCarthy is an award-winning poet whose work centers on healing, faith, resilience, and personal transformation. Her collection Unleashing The Power Within: A Journey of Self-Discovery Through Poetry received the Literary Titan Gold Book Award (Poetry, 2026), a Gold Medal in the Global Book Awards (Poetry - Verse, 2025), and a Bronze Medal in the Readers' Favorite International Book Awards (Inspirational Poetry, 2025). Her book Inspiring Book of Poems, Dreams and Stories also received a Bronze Medal in the Global Book Awards (Poetry - Verse, 2025). Lisa began writing poetry in seventh grade after reading a poem that reminded her of a childhood memory, picking raspberries in her grandmother's garden, a moment filled with joy, simplicity, and peace. After moving from that environment into a more difficult and painful season of life, she held onto the hope of the freedom she once knew. That journey through loss, healing, faith in God, and rediscovery became the foundation of her writing. Today, her work reflects a path of growth and renewal, offering encouragement to those navigating their own struggles and reminding them that strength, healing, and purpose are still within them.
