Liam Hoffman is a 46-year-old American self-help author. Since early adolescence, he has had to personally deal with manipulative people who have emotionally abused him. These behaviors caused him to grow up with low self-esteem and having little love for himself, providing him with an adolescence full of anxiety and depression. Until he wanted to take back his life... After several years, he was convinced to go to a psychologist to solve these problems and it was there that he discovered that he had been the victim of Gaslighting, a powerful manipulative technique used to distort his own reality and vision of himself. Despite the good results obtained with the psychologist, he began to become passionate about the world of psychology. He read and studied dozens of books and enrolled in the faculty of Psychology. His situation was resolved and, as a good empath, he did not want other people to experience the kind of abuse he had endured. He began to write a series of books on the subject, sharing with readers the strategies and techniques that have helped him and his loved ones solve these problems. Today, Liam is happily married, with three children, and surrounded by people who love him. When he meets people who show narcissistic and manipulative behaviors he doesn't worry, because he already knows how to defend himself against them.
