Lee Cotton RDN is a nationally recognized and licensed dietitian. Cotton also believes in taking a realistic approach to nutrition that encompasses ongoing education about food and personalized tools to turn mindful nutrition into a way of life. Cotton promotes mindful eating as a sustainable approach to nutrition. She has inspired many individuals to improve their relationship with their body with her practical guidance. Ultimately, Cotton believes in honoring one’s body and internal cues as a reliable guide to nutritional balance and moderation and creating spaces for women to both discuss their feelings around food and cultivate a healthy body image. Her passion for nutrition stems from her own journey, which inspired her to pursue a career in nutrition that changed not only her life but those of many others. She believes that mindful nutrition is the key to good health and is wholeheartedly dedicated to educating people about the impact of food on their well-being. When she’s not writing or teaching about nutrition, Cotton enjoys practicing yoga, spending time with her dogs Noodles and Kimchi, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. In her book, A Nourishing Perspective: Reconnect to Your Inner Voice and Harmonize Your Relationship with Food, author Lee Cotton educates women on how to reconnect with their body’s natural rhythms and hunger cues and examines the complexities of women’s emotional connections to food to help them undo generational patterns of disordered eating habits without resorting to fad dieting or extreme workouts.
