Award-winning author, Laurie Germaine, is a New England native who once dreamed of raising her family in Europe and avoided anything that had to do with the American West (apologies to a large chunk of the USA). Today, she's a walking testimony to God’s sense of humor since she's been living quite happily in Montana for seventeen years now with her husband, two daughters (one in college, one finishing high school), one sweet-hearted Alaskan Malamute, three horses, and a revolving number of chickens. Her debut novel, TINSEL IN A TANGLE, was first published through Clean Reads in 2017 and later republished in 2022 under her publishing name, Scattered Whimsy. She has since published two more Christmas-themed novels. When not immersed in writing or honing important life skills as a mom and homemaker, you can find Laurie knitting anything from clothes to bags to toys, crafting for the home, and dreaming of the next white Christmas.
