Laurent Nizette is a Belgian author, certified hypnotherapist, and photographer. With a deep interest in human nature, he draws inspiration from his solitary travels — particularly in Oman — to explore both the shadows and the inner light of the human experience. In fiction, he writes heartwarming cozy mysteries set in the charming Village des Roses series (Murder and Macarons, Vengeance and Colorful Pastries, The Night of the Stolen Meringues). He also crafts intense psychological thrillers (The Whispers in My Head, The Secret of My Perfect Husband, Oman) and introspective novels about burnout and personal reconstruction (Everything Falls Apart, A Novel of a World Collapsing and a Man Reborn). Alongside fiction, Laurent has developed an ethical approach to therapeutic divination.
