Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. LaToya currently lives in North Carolina and was born and raised there. She is a graceful person who enjoys spending time with family. Encouraging, helping, and building up others are her passions. 17 years ago, she gave her life to Christ, and it's been the best decision she's made. LaToya loves spreading God's word wherever she goes. She is an inspirational author and poet. One of her initiatives entitled, “Toya’s Quiet Storm”, brings awareness to HIV prevention, fight stigma, and answers lingering questions for friends, advocates, family members, and ‌people living with HIV. In telling her story, she hopes to encourage others to cope with their diagnosis. When LaToya is not working to bring awareness to HIV and other chronic diseases, she enjoys spending time with family and working with the youth in her church. She is not just a survivor, but has thrived through the process of her HIV diagnosis. She is an advocate and a support system for those who feel discouraged on the battle. Her mission is to educate, inspire, and be a reminder that they are not alone. LaToya is a member of the Positive Women’s Network USA, 2020 Leading Women Society and is an HIV and Faith Ambassador. She is an Amazon bestselling author of Healing From the Inside Out, Fighting the Good Fight The Good Fight: Surviving HIV, Reflections of A Praying Heart and Moment of Reflections.
